The Air Hogs Havoc Heli is probably the most popular R/C aircraft in Air Hogs lines of products. It is a very tiny helicopter, and is meant for mostly indoor use, but can also be used outside. In fact, the Havoc Heli is the smallest and lightest R/C helicopter at only 6 inches and ten grams! The Havoc Heli is one of those toys that just provide you with hours of fun and never get boring.

It’s perfect for when you don’t have time to go to a big field to fly, just go to your living room! This little guy is perfect for beginners and kids, it’s very easy to fly, and even when you crash it, its fine, the foam it’s made of is very resilient. I’ve crashed my Heli more times than I can remember, but still its fine. This is definitely the most forgiving aircraft I have every used.

Another thing I enjoy about the Air Hogs Havoc Heli is the fact that it has two rotors instead of one; this makes the heli much more stable and in turn much more friendly towards newer pilots. The double rotors also make the heli have very good handling and after a few hours most people get good enough to perform simple tricks. I actually built small obstacles and made a course for my heli.

The charging time on the Havoc Heli is something I was also impressed with, I can normally get six or seven minutes of flying time only 15 minutes of charging, while other indoor R/C helicopters require up to thirty minutes of flying time, the Havoc Heli does it much quicker. A cool feature I enjoy about the Heli are the LED lights, which let me fly this helicopter in the dark! The Havoc Heli also comes in three colors which I thought was unique, since most other indoor R/C helicopters come in one standard color.

The one drawback I found in the Heli was that flying it outdoors was tough, and next to impossible. I tried many times, but even a slight breeze can knock the heli around a bit. If you want to fly the heli outdoors, just make absolutely sure there are ZERO wind conditions. Although, it is to be expected that flying a 10 gram helicopters outdoors can be a challenge.

Over all I would rate the Air Hogs Havoc Heli a 9.5 out of 10. It does everything they say it does and more; after all its not recommended to fly outdoors. I’ve flown other R/C helicopters made of plastic, and within a week they were cracked, especially on the landing gears. If you’re a beginner, or an experienced pro, and looking for an indoor aircraft, I definitely recommend the Air Hogs Havoc Heli.
