The Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser I must say is one of the coolest things I have seen from Air Hogs. Who wants an R/C car that can only ride on the floor? Not me! The Zero Gravity Laser rides on the ground, wall, and ceiling! The only requirement is for the surface to smooth, and if it is, the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser can tackle it, be it a 90 degree slope or even upside down!

How exactly does the Zero Gravity vehicle work? It works through air suction, it is essentially built with a small vacuum which is what allows it to climb ceilings and walls with ease. As if having a car can take on ceilings and walls, Airs Hogs also had to innovate the way the Zero Gravity Laser is controlled. Instead of being controlled with a conventional remote control, the Air Hogs Zero Gravity can be controlled by a beam of light! When you purchase the Zero Gravity Laser you receive a laser which is used to control the vehicle. All you need to do is point the light beam in front of the vehicle, and the vehicles censors will sense the light beam and follow it. Of course before that you need to dim or turn off your lights.

The Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser also glows in the dark, so it’s a really cool effect having a glow in the dark thing running across your ceiling. One thing I was particularity impressed about was the speed of the car; for something that uses vacuum suction it was quite quick and agile. I personally thought the car was going to slow and move at a snail pace, but it was actually reasonably fast.

A few things that should be considered, the vacuum suction on the Air Hogs Zero Gravity can get quite loud. Personally I found it pretty cool, and I thought the sound added to the character of the car, but it could definitely get annoying for some people. Of course, with a laser remote, you are not going to get the range of a radio control, but being an indoor vehicle, I found the range on the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser was sufficient. If you’re house exceptionally large, you might need to move around a little.

Overall, the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser is definitely the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while, and it will bring the biggest “oohs” and “awes” from everyone. It also held it charge well, on average a 15-20 minute charge gave me 10 minutes of ceiling climbing. It’s very entertaining and kept me entertained for hours. If you’re looking for a gift for someone, this is definitely a unique gift that a child or even adult would enjoy.
